3enry Wolfe, Noted Writer. To Be College Club Speaker DUE TO THE ILLNESS of Colonel Melvin Purvis, the speaker at the open lecture of the College club of Canton Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock in Timken Vocational high school will be Henry Wolfe, observer of international affairs and a writer for 30 years. Mr. Wolfe j has written articles for such magazines as Harpers and Atlantic Month- ly and has had several books published. He was born in Ohio and spoke at the College club in April of 1943. * * « * Money will be refunded to anyone who purchased tickets especially especially to hear Colonel Purvis. The lecture is open to the public and tickets may be secured from Mrs. David Dowd, vice president of the club, Mrs. William R. Greer, Miss .Harriet Davis, Miss Emily Herzog, Miss Ruth Tressel and the Reliable Office Supply Co. Tickets for the lecture are being being distributed in Massillon by Mrs. David Dowd, Miss Harriet Davis, Davis, Miss Emily Herzog, Miss Ruth Tressel and Mrs. William R. Greer.
