OP)—Colonel Melvin Purvis, former Federal Bureau Bureau of Investigation agent who cap* tured John Di(linger, was reported reliably today to be tracking down Nazis who have committed war crimes. Purvis' whereabouts was not closed but an informant said he "connected" with the United States War Crimea office in Washington. There were other reports, unconfirmed, unconfirmed, that Purvis was heading an international organization to track down German war criminals now and after the war.
