p m The in James Cotter and had and Bob Tony two Stanley Singleton Stanley F Singleton, age 76, died Wednesday at Veteran's Administration Hospital, Columbia He was lifelong resident of Livingston County ' Born Sept 7, 1908 in Bedford, he was a son of Singleton and Flay Mitchell Singleton He attended School and served during World War II in the U stationed in California and Mississippi He married Frances Ilia Figg March 26,1930 in Linneus Mr had been a member of the Methodist faith, served Bedford Consolidated School Board and the Avalon Cemetery Board Surviving are wife, of the home, son, Dale Madison, Wis , daughter, Grace Thompson, Kansas four grandsons, granddaughter, two great grandsons, great-granddaughter and two nephews Funeral services will be held at 11 a m Fnday Avalon Methodist Church in Avalon with the Rev Montgomery officiating Bunal will be in the Avalon cemetery Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p m the Norman Wagy-Smger Funeral Home Memorials be made to the Bedford Methodist Church or the your choice and left at the funeral home He was preceded in death by his parents, two brother, half brother, and four half sisters
