Center, ProVo.died Tuesday at his home of a sudden heart attack. He was born May 6,1923, in Provo, a son of Heber A. and Maude Wright Knudsen. He married Donna Ivie on March 25, 1955, in Springville. Mr. Knudsen was educated in Provo City schools and had lived all of his life in Provo. For 19 years he delivered milk on a route in Provo and as a young boy was reared on his father's dairy farm in West Provo. During the past seven years, he was park superintendent at the Provo Boat Harbor and at the time of his death he was a ROY KNUDSEN Utah Lake boating ranger. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was also a member of the Provo Boat Club. Survivors include his widow, Provo; two sons and one daughter, Jay Grant Christiansen, Gerald (Gary) Knudsen and Ruth Knudsen, all of Provo; two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Del (Inez) Gay, Mrs. James L. (Berniece) Baxter, Provo; Albert A. Knudsen, Orem. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Provo Sunset Second Ward Chapel under the direction of Bishop Mark Nielsen. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary in Provo Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the chapel prior to services. Services are being conducted by Walker Mortuary of Spanish Fork.
