Is Made at Night" promises much— and happily fulfills its promise. It is a new revelation of: how drama can be tinged with comedy and mystery flavored with romance—in fact, it proved an all-around tasty bit to Paramount-goers Thursday night. A word should be said at once for the infinite finesse with which Charles Boyer endows his role. His is a talent capable of any demand, but the way he blends that melting Latin seriousness with touches of subtle humor will surprise even the confirmed Boyer addicts. He has the air of Jiving every vicissitude in the role he plays, and his troublous romance in the new picture calls for considerable acting.
