Wo.od.cdck Valley, Liberty;.Township., on July 17,-1835. ! He was. united'in with Miss Mary N. Rhodes in 1859, who preceded him to the grave in' 1906. He is survived by two children, children, Alvin L. Little* Esq., of Bedr ford and Miss Emma at home. brothers also survive as follows: S. F. of Tipton, la., S. H. of Saxton F. R, of McCabe, Ariz: \. Mrl' ; Little left home at the age 11 years and went to Morrison's where he learned the carpenter Later 'he went west where he attended the Rock River Seminary and taught for several years. He entered the Union army in 1862. After the war he returned Saxton and- became superintendent the construction gang of the H. T. Ri -R., which position he held 1874." He went into the mercantile business with- D. M. Stoler and tinued''in the same for some time. Later he went into the milling business in "which he continued until 1897, when he retired from active business, though retaining an interest interest in a number of enterprises in Saxton. ,He.-.was a member of the^Reformed the^Reformed Church and was active in duties as a member, also in the Sunday School- He was a' proniirTdnt member o f ' t h e P. 6.
