in of, College Athletics. Madison, Wis., Jan. S.—The meeting of unversity presidents which has been in session for the last two days ended Thursday night. Before adjourning they adopted resolutions expressing the opinion that inter-collegiate athletics athletics in general and football in particular particular should be subjected to more careful and constant supervision, and appointing a committee to report such rules as they deem wise to be recommended recommended for the consideration of the several several institutions with which they are connected. The members of the body expressed themselves as favoring some modification, but were opposed to any radical action. Indicted for Hotly-Snatching.
