Deborah Vonnahme Married at Arcadia ARCADIA — Deborah Vonnahme, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Vonnahme of Arcadia, became the bride of Robert Pedersen, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Robert Pedersen of Cedar Falls, in an Aug. 4 ceremony at St. John's Church in Arcadia. The double ring ceremony took place at 1 p.m., with the Rev. C. A. Ahmann officiating before an altar decorated with orange gladioli. Lector was the bride's brother, Dan Vonnahme. Her sisters, Jane and Connie Vonnahme, carried the offertory gifts. Bob, Karen and Lu- Ann Lohman sang; organist was Lori Letting. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Her sister, Mrs. Randy Omvig of Eagle Grove, was matron of honor. Other attendants were the groom's sister, Mrs. Dave Polashek of Cedar Falls, Wanda Eischeid and Mary Stangl. Best man was Mike Stiles of Cedar Falls. Groomsmen were the bride's brother, Bob Vonnahme, Tom Johnson of Milford and Mr. Polashek. Guests were ushered by another brother, John Vonnahme, Bill Porter of Minneapolis, Minn., and Craig McDonald of Taooma, Wash. The bride's gown of white sparkle dacron had a fitted bodice with high ruffled neckline and tapered sleeves. The A-line skirt, trimmed with Chantilly •lace and ruiffled in redingole effect, swept to a chapel train. She carried white roses, stephanotis and baby's breath tied with white satin and wore a crown of matching flowers to secure her mantilla veil train. Her attendants' sheer floral dresses of orange and yellow were styled with scoop necklines and wide flounces. Flowers in their hair complimented their bouquets of yellow carnations and orange button flowers. The reception for 250 guests was held at the Legion Hall here from 2 until 4 p.m. The rehearsal dinner was served at the Red Carpet Lounge in Carroll Friday evening. Mrs. Pedersen, a 1971 alumna of Kuemper High School, will be a junior this fall at the University of Northern Iowa, where her husband graduated in 1973. He is an economist at People's Savings and Trust, Waterloo. They will live at 426 East Hillside Courts, Cedar Falls, after a western trip.
