:«rrangements. Obituaries 1884 Walter Nelson Earl 1958 Walter Nelson Earl was born Nov. 27, 1884, at Esteline, S. D., the son of Nelson and Ida Prescott Prescott Earl. While he was still an infant, the family moved to a farm near Oakland, Minn. He attended attended school at Oakland Dist. 33. In 1905 he was united in marriage marriage with Florence Hetch at Oakland. Oakland. Four children were born to them. He was engaged in farming farming until 1941 when ho retired said moved to Austin. In 1931 he was married to Ida Hatch. Since that time he hns been a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Lutheran Church. ' After a lingering illness, he passed passed away Saturday morning, March 1, 1956, at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his four children, children, Kenneth Earl, Mrs. Harry Sheedy (Eleanor), Mrs. Oscar Wood (Edna), all of Austin, and Leslie Earl of Albert Lea; a brother, brother, Frank Earl, Austin; three aisters, Mrs. George F^itz, Seattle, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. George Clifford, Mrs. Bessie Kain, Austin; 11 grandchildren; grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four step-children, Francis Hatch, Denver, Colo'.; Isobell, Mrs. Spin Nelson, Tulsa, Okla.; Lester Hatch, St. Cloud and Pearl, Mrs. Cleo Leighton, Austin; He was preceded in death by his mother and father, four brothers brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church the Rev. Arthur L. Swenson officiating. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
