I'm sure it's agreed by all attended it that it was a big success. The crowd was good, considering that so many had to work the first hour or so; the movies and music were just you wanted to dance to; the decorations were right;and the floor was nice and slippery (maybe causing an anxious moment or two for a few kids, when they started to slide). The intermission, with the crowning of the freshman candidate, candidate, Peg Estes, as queen was highlight of the evening. She presented with a white FFA jacket, and the other candidates received necklaces. The dancing continued till about 12, when all good E.H.S. students went home to bed.
