Funeral services will be con- ducted Tuesday at 1 p. m. in the Taylorsville LDS ward chapel for First Lieutenant Avalon L. Services Set For Officer Finlayson, 25, who was killed in an airplane crash at Las Vegas Thursday. Abraham Barker, bishop, bishop, will officiate. He was graduated from University University of Utah In 1941 and I mine 1 dia'tely entered the army air forces. Receiving basic training at South Airways, Phoenix, Ariz., he was commissioned a second lieutenant following flight training training at Stockton, Cal. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Marianne Newton Finlayson of Salt Lake City, who has been at Las Vegas; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon I. Finlayson of 4526 South Redwood road ; the following following brothers and sisters: Burns E, Finlayson. stationed at Alameda, Alameda, Ca!,, naval training base: Fredrick J., Bonita, Elaine, Janice nnri Marie Finlayson, all of Salt Lake City.
