DAVID M. PEERY David M. Peery, 56, of Quapaw Quapaw Route 1, was dead on arrival arrival at Baxter Springs Memorial Memorial hospital at 9:30 a.m. today. A long-time resident of this area, he was born in Miami Dec. 28, 1911, and was an employe of -the Gulf Oil Co., Galena. Death followed a long illness. He was Southside a member of the Chrisian church, Baxter Springs and of the Masonic Lodge, Quapaw. He is survived by his wife, Pearl Whilecrow Peery, of the home; tliree stepsons, Jake Whitecrow, Quapaw Route 1, Louis Ballard, Santa Fe, N.M., and Charles Ballard, Arkansas City, Kan., a stepdaughter Mrs, Flossie Mathews, Maimi, His mother Mrs. Katie Peery, Miami; three brothers, Harold Peery, St. Louis, Mo,, Ray Peery, Everett, Wash., and Elmer Peery, Miami three sisters, Mrs. Walter xman and Mrs. Dee Brown, Miami, and Mrs. Margaret Young, Tulsa, and 12 grandchildren. The body was received by the Paul Thomas funeral home of
