V J He no J a a Jane in the his Oe«ffe S. Ltiptoti, Oaten* Galena, 1 111., Nov. 14.—George a Lupton died Wednesday morning at 8:40 at his home in Council Mill township. The son of William and Margaret Lupton, he was born June 14, 1808, on the homestead where he lived for his entire life. Mr. Lupton had always been active active in the affairs of his community community and the county. He had served as supervisor of Council Hill, as member of the board of review, as lustice of the peace, as road commissioner, commissioner, as school director, and at the time of his death, was clerk of the school board. He was a member of the Miners odge No. 273, A. F. and A. M., and of the Galena Elks lodge.
