at a LEGAL NOTICE. In the United States Court for the Indian Territory—April Term 1890—Wednesday 1890—Wednesday morning, 9 o'clock, May 14th, A. D. 1890. Court met persuant to adjournment, ricsentthe lion. James M. Shackelford, Judge of the United Stales Court for the Indian Territory. Know all to iv/iom tliis ortlar may come. Greeting— KNOW YK : That whereas by the Act of Congress approved May the 2nd, 1890, it is declared that for the purpose of holding terms of the United States Court for the Indian Indian Territory—the boundaries of which are fixed by said Act—said Indian Territory is divided into three divisions. The first division division to consist of the country occupied by the Indian tribes in the (Juapaw Indian Agency and all that part of the Cherokee country east of the ninety-sixth meridian and .ill the Creek country; and the place for holding said Court therein shall be at Muskogee. The second division shall consist of the Choctaw Country and the place for hoUling said Court therein shall be al South McAles- ler. The third division shall consist of the Chickasaw and Seminole Countries, and the place for holding said Court therein shall be at Ardniore. And whereas by Sic. 30 of said Act of Congress it is made the duty of the Judge o( said Court to hold at least two terms of said Court e.-ich year in each of the divisions aforesaid—at such regular times as said Judge shall fix and determine. Now, I, James M, Shackelford, Judge of said United States Court for the Indian Territory Territory do hereby fix, dertermine and order that, there shall be two terms of said Court each year at Muskogee, in the first division, the same to be held on the 2nd Tuesday in May and the 2nd Tuesday in November the first term thereof to be held on the 2nd Tuesday in November 1S90. That there shall be two terms of said Court each j^ear at South McAlesler, in the second division to be held on the isl Tuesday Tuesday in January and the ist Tuesday in September—the lirst term thereof to be held on the 1st Tuesday in September 1890. And there shall be two terms of said Court each year al Adrmore, in the third division to be held on the tst Tuesday in March and the 1st Tuesday in <)ctol)er—the first term thereof to be held on the Ist Tuesday in October 1890. It is further ordered that ten days before the first day of the term ol Court in which suit may be brought, is hereby the time fixed for the service o( summons. It is further ordered that all summons, notices, subpoenas, bonils, recognizances and all other processes which have been or may hereatcr l)e issued, returnable to the Court as herein required to be held in each of said divisions shall be deemed—and the same sliall be by virtue of this order, nuule returnable to the first day of the first regular term ol the Court for the projier division in which the Court is herein required to be held.
