Walter A. Prater Dies; Last Rites At 2 P.M. Tuesday v Walter Andrews Prater of 27M Main Blvd., a retired farmer and resident of Brown County most at his life died in a local rest home at 2:15 p.m. Sunday following in- ness of three years. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in tha chapel oJ Davis-Morris Funeral home with Rev. W. E. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Cross Cut Cemetery. Mr. Prater wa« born July 24, 1872, at Gadsen, Ala. He was * member of the Methodist Church, Surviving are four sons. Rev. L. C. Prater of Eliasville. Miss., Vernon L. Prater of Brownwood, Warrant Officer John E. Prater, Tucson, Ariz., and Herman D. Prater, Denver; two daughters. Mrs. T. T. Triplett of Zephyr and Mrs. L. W. Biehl, Salem, 111; two brothers, J. R. and Edgar Prater of Cross Cut; a sister, Mrs. Luther Bruton of Winters and four grandchildren.
