like a pig. Ed Jones visited in the R. D. Egger home Sunday when he and R. D. played dominoes all day. Geo. Garner of Goldthwaite spent the weekend with us. He and Alton are doing quite a bit of fishing and are having pretty- good luck. You better come have dinner with us; we are going to have fish and poke salad. Alton and Ed Jones took a hog to town Tuesday to have it butchered. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Edington ate dinner with us Tuesday. We had fish and they said it was a treat to them. Mr. and Mrs. Billy Hale and son, Gerald Gene, of Rattler spent the night with the lady's mother. Mrs. Irene Whitley, Thursday night. Buddie Rowlett spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Rowlett. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Edington took a load of calves to the sale at Brownwood Wednesday. Mrs. Irene Whitley is visiting this week in Goldthwaite with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Whitley. Ed Jones went to Ozone Thursday for a few days visit. Cathy and Reta Egger spent the day with Mrs. Charm Whittenburg Friday while their daddy, R. D. Egger, got his sheep sheared. Henry Egger of Goldthwaitfc was out our way Thursday visiting neighbors. Earl Parks of Locker stopped for a chat as he came through our town Thursday. R. D. Egger killed a big rattlesnake Friday on his way to the store. Alton Jones was going down to our farm and killed one too, so you better keep your eyes open when you are'- stirring around.— By Mrs. J. A. Jones.
