Workman Hits Grand-Slammer St. Cloud Edges YMCATeam, 7-6 Workman capped his soft ball career last, evening with a grand slam borne run which provided provided the margin for St. Cloud's 7-6 win over the YMCA in the last game of the season for both teams in the OMy Softball League. Workman, a standout tackle for the Lock Haven high school football football team last year, and more recently recently dn the Central Counties All- Star football game, leaves today for the Marines. The win enabled St. Cloud to tde YMCA for fourth position, climbing climbing up to the losers in the season's finale. _ Wnining pitcher Ken Lindsey walked only one man and spaced nine hits by the YIMOA batters. The St. Cloud batters had only five base hits, but made them count. They capitalized on seven walks. YMCA 300 010 2-6 St. Cloud 014 020 x—7 W-Lindsey.
