REGENCY NEWS July 25—We are having , some nice cool weather since the rains. We .want to extend our sympathy to the entire family of Mrs. Geo. Gamer. She will be missed by a number of people. She was a wonderful mother and wife. Mrs. J. M. Jones is back home after spending two weeks in San Angelo with her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Newsom. Woodie Egger spent Friday with Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Longmire of Spring Creek. He and Longmire were going to fish. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. England of Alvin, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Jackson of Houston spent Sunday night with us and attended the funeral of Mrs. Geo. Garner Monday at Locker. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Preedman went to Waco Saturday on business. Mra. Dona Taylor is at home with her son, Clayton Shaw, at Big Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Jones visited in San Saba Friday with her brother and sister, Kate Underwood and Sam Darvin. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Whitley and children of Ozona visited his mother, Mrs. Irene Whitley, this week. Hulon Egger is combining maize for Edgar Sealy of Spring Creek. Mrs. L. D. Egger visited in Odessa a few days with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Elmer Martin. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Smith of Hall Valley visited us a short while one morning this week.
