Mrs. J. D. Coffey Dies In Beeville Mrs. Nena Howard Coffey, 54 of Beeville died at 11:40 p.m. Saturday, Saturday, Feb. 17, in a Beeville hospital hospital after a brief illness. A native of San Saba county she was born Aug. 8, 1913, the daughter of Eb Shaw and Dona Jones Shaw. She was married to J. D. Coffey in 1934 in San Saba county. A resident of Beeville for the past year and one-half, she previously had lived in Woodsboro Woodsboro for seven years. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband; three children, Mrs. Cornelius Gotchie, Mrs. Doris Williams and John Coffey; four brothers, Clayton, Clayton, Denver, Otis and Roemer Shaw; four grandchildren. Services were held at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, in Galloway and Sons Chapel, Beeville, conducted by the Rev. Judson Mills. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery, Beeville, Beeville, under the direction of Galloway Galloway and Sons Funeral Home.
