Commencement week activities will begin next Sunday evening 7:30 o'clock, with baccalaureate services at the high school auditorium. The class night program will be held at the high school at 8 m Tuesday, with commencement scheduled for Filstrup stadium at 8:30 o'clock Wednesday evening. Baccalaureate services will open with a prelude and the processional, "Pomp and Circumstance," played by Warren Colby. The call to worship will be given by the Rev. Howard A. .Blanning, followed by the singing of a hymn. The high choir will then sing, "God Save The People," by Genet. The Rev. Wendell M. Pasco give the prayer and the Rev. M. Frye will deliver the baccalaureate sermon, "Living Abundantly, Nevertheless:" Robert Bishop will play a Horn solo, "Faith Of Our Fathers," after which the Rev.! Edward Montgomery, will pronounce the benediction.-- '. ,' . '. - .. Class Niiht The class night program will with a march by the high school orchestra and a special selection-by a clarinet quartette composed:of F r e d " Wertheimer, Tom Arthur Blyveis and Robert Gilbert. The class prophecy will follow, after which Myrtle and Marge accompanied by Lois Forburger, sing "My Dreams of Tomorrow." · Among the program highlights will be the presentation of Kiwanis keys and Exchange club scholarships by Gerald Peters and V. Meskimen; American Legion by Commander William, B. Hippensteel; presentation of Legion Auxiliary awards by Mrs. Howard Slenker; S. William Becker chemistry award by Myron G. Becker, presentation of medals to class speakers by L. R. Stanley. The girls' glee club'will sing Victor Herbert's, "Moonbeams," and Tschaikowsky's "Dance of the Flues" will be presented by Isabelle Raeside, Corinne Gary, and Mary Ann Lawton, acompanied by McCarthy. Commencement Weather permitting graduation exercises Wednesday evening will take place in Filstnip Stadium, otherwise in the auditorium. The program will open.with it coronation march by the high school band, after which Rabbi Alfred Friedman will give the invocation. Arthur Ablin will deliver the salutatory address, followed by two. selections by the choir, Beethoven's "The Glory of God In Nature," (Please Turn to Page 18}
