Ijams-Gruenholz Wedding Nov. 26 Saturday, Nov. 26, was announced announced as the date of the wedding wedding of Miss Sallie Ann Ijams, daughter of Mr..and Mrs. Edward B. Ijams of Allendale, and Herman Herman Edmond Gruenholz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Gruenholz Gruenholz of 3220 South Seventh Street, at a supper party given last evening by Mr. and Mrs. Ijams at their home. The date was announced on the punch napkins and match folders at the buffet supper party, which was attended by intimate friends and relatives of the couple. Emerald green, moss green and white, the wedding colors, were carried out in the table decorations. A gardenia tree, made of individual corsages for the young women guests who are in the bridal party, centered the serving table. + + + OUT-OF-TOWN guests invited for last night's party were Mr. and Mrs. David Bartram, Mrs. W. V. Morris, General and Mrs. Clark Ruffner, all of Washington, D. C.; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Caldwell Jr., Howard Caldwell Sr., Miss Virginia Caldwell and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Marshall Jr., all of Indianapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Sherman of Charlottesville. Va.; Mr. and Mrs. William Fairbanks of Alton, M., and Mr. and Mrs. 'Hugh-..£. Lee Jr., and Miss Eleanor Lee of St. Louis, Mo. The wedding of the young couple will take place at 4:30 o'clock in the afternoon at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. A reception at the Country Club of Terre Haute will follow the ceremony. After a wedding trip, the cuople will live in Terre Haute. Miss Ijams attended Ferry Hall at Lake Forest, 111., and was graduated from Honey Creek 7 High School. Mr. Gruenholz is a graduate of Garfield High School and attended attended Indiana State Teachers College. He is employed at the Visking Company. * * * the hospital. Smorgasbord Smorgasbord will be served from 6 until 8:30 o'clock with reservations to be made at the city club, C-8686. Dancing will be from 9:30 until 12:30 o'clock to the music of Mark Richardson's Orchestra. An old-time Halloween Costume Costume Ball is being planned by the Elks for Saturday night, Oct. 22, at the city club. There will be prizes for the prettiest girl and ugliest boy. * * * Church Societies Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Mt. Pleasant Church will meet at 11 o'clock next Thursday morning at the church. Each member attending is to take sandwiches.
