The bride is the daughter o Mrs. Arthur LaVigne and tin late William Benoit. The bride groom's parents are Robert Cur tis and Mrs. Christine Curtis. The bride's gown of peau de soie was fashioned with a bustli and long train. Chantilly lace bordered the high collar and sleeves. Her veil fell from a crown which had been worn by her mother. She carried a cas cade of lilies. Mrs. William Wilman, the Itfide's twin sister, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were 2andy Curtis, Mrs. Richard Walsh of Iron Mountain, Mrs James Curtis and Penny Perron of Munising. Sandra Castagne was junior bridesmaid. The at- endants wore short-sleeved dresses of georgette in six pastel Ml Fcswest MMtoi* Tetnu fcUSTIC RAIL match their dresses and they carried cascade arrangements of daisies, lilies, and gypsophiln. Annette Moiles and Melissa McKerroll, cousins of the bride, were flower girls in short white dresses and white hair bows. They carried white baskets of of daisies. Clifford Benoit of Chicago, was 1 ringbearer. | Performing the duties of bes man for his brother was Ton> Curtis of Midland. Other attend ants were James Curtis, Spen cer Shunk, Charles Brown anc Ronald Cross. Donald Benoit brother cf the bride, and Kenneth Kenneth Umbehocker were ushers. Mrs. LaVigne greeted guests in a pink ensemble. Mrs. Curtis chose sky blue. Both mothers wor e white accessories and had corsages of pink rosebuds. Mrs. Eugene Castagne, the Jride's grandmother, wore aqua cnit. Mrs. Elizabeth Curnow and Mrs. Roy Curtis, grandmothers of the bridegroom, were in mint green. All had corsages of pink carnations. Assisting at the reception held at the National Guard Armory vere Jeannie Callaghan, JoAnn Bo=acci, Linda BagneU, Annette .aJoice, Bobby Sue Benoit, Mrs. Howard White, Mrs. Romeo Peron Peron of Munising, Mrs. Robert 'ennedy, Mrs. Clark Hunter and VIrs. Jerry Desarmeaux. A dance ollowed the reception. The new Mrs. Curtis graduated rom Loretto High School, at- mded Lake Si^erior State Col- ege and has been employed at ":an-Am Export Store.
