John La uf en berg Rites Thursday Funeral Mass for John Lauf- cnberg, 60, Mitchell, formerly of Ethan, will be at 10 o'clock Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Catholic Church. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Milliken Funeral Funeral Home with the Scripture service at 8 o'clock. Burial will be in the Ethan Catholic cemetery cemetery with military rites by the Ethan American Legion post. Mr. Laufenberg was born Jan. 29, 1909 at Cudworth, Canada, to Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Laufenberg- Laufenberg- and died June 8 at a Mitchell hospital. He served in the Army during World W_ar II. Survivors include two sisters, Virginia Backs, La Puente, Calif., and Josephine Elliott, Gardena, Calif. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
