Wfcyne McGrew will be the new clerk at the post office, and will take up his duties October 16. Wayne is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett McGrew, a graduate of Laddonia High School, and has been attending Northeast Missouri State Normal, Kirksville, for the past two years. He served-overseas during World War II for four years. Miss Hazel Spurlock will remain as substitute clerk. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Dore and daughter, Helen Gae, of St. Louis, .weje here Saturday. Mrs. Dore and' daughter . will remain here for'si visit with her mother, Mrs. James E. Moore, and Mr. Moore. Morgan returned to the city Sunday. Mr. and-Mrs. i. D. Schulz and baby of St. Louis spent the weekend here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Schulz. Mr .and Mrs. Gene Selleck entertained at noonday dinner Sunday "for Mrs. J. A. Selleck of Hannibal, mother of Mr. Selleck, and their daughter, Miss Dolores Selleck, who has a position in Hannibal-and attends night school at the Bertha Seibel Business college, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Tal bott and family of this place'and J. Cornelia Schnur and daughter, Mrs. Elinor Foster and son Ward Foster, of St. Louis - spent Sunday with their daughter and their sister, Mrs. Hannah Moore.
