Juror In a Conspiracy A controversy arose between H D Wright and Lafayette Eastlick and others others as to the dividing line of mining claims In Siskiyou county and Wright sued Eastlick to quiet title The iury gave a verdict for the defendants W right appealed appealed and the Supreme Court has reversed reversed the declelon The higher court finds that there has been gross misconduct on the part of the Jury In that It was shown that one of the Jurors had become very friendly with the defendants during the recesses of the court and It was conclusively conclusively shown by affidavits that he had told the defendants he would be of service to them as a juror The Supreme Court says that the testimony tends to show that there was conspiracy oa the part of the juror to prostitute justice and that there should be a new trial of the Issue
