to Riceville Man Dies in Germany; Rites Pending RICEVILLE—Mr. and Mrs. Ed everson received a cablegram, rom their daughter-in-law, Mrs. 3rville Severson, Thursday morn- ng stating that their son had died "hursday morning at 7:00 a.m. 'he cablegram came from Mutch, Mutch, Germany, \vhere Capt. Sever- on was with tHe armed forces. Orville Severson was born on a arm northeast of Riceville March 0, 1922, and died in Munich, Germany, Germany, Jan. 26, 1956. He attended loward County rural schools and liceville High School graduating n 1938. He enlisted in the National Guard in 1941. He was in the European European Theater of war in England, <"rance and Germany for two and a half years, then was sent back o Fort Knox, Ky., for officer's raining. He was in the Korean area for 14 months. Capt. Severson vwas married at ?ort Knox, June 28, 1951, to Wini- red Mohr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mohr of Crane Lake, Minn. Capt. Severson leaves his wife, lis father and mother, one sister, Mrs. Wayne (Evelyn) Ervay, Nora Springs, and four'brothers, Willard at home; Milford, Lawler; Erling, ~!ompton, Calif., and Sgt. Luther Severson. Funeral arrangements are pending pending awaiting the arrival of the body. Former Iowa Falls
