Rev. Don Wellman leaves Iowa for new church assignment in Texas.

First Church of the Nazarene three years, will conclude his services with the church this .day. i lie Vv-as recently graduated Young from Nazarene Theological Seminary Seminary at Kansas City, Mo., and has accepted a pastorate in Hamlin, Tex. The Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Wellman Wellman and their son, Wally. plan to leave for Texas next week. New Assistant Charles Tryon, 25, from Colorado Colorado Springs, will arrive here next week to assume duties in the Rev. Mr. Wellman's place, as assistant to the pastor and minister of music. He has at| at| tended Bethany College, Bethany, Okla. During the stay of the Rev. 'Mr. Wellman, he organized several several classes in sight-reading, two ladies' trios, a girls' quartet, male quartet and a brass ensemble, ensemble, all of which are still active in the church activities. The choir has been enlarged, and he had directed several ofcoral productions in which several several other church choirs in Southwest Southwest Iowa have participated. Mrs. Wellman has been'church organist.
