ROCHESTER — John Clayton Cripe, 72, a Rochester resident for • 15 years before moving to Lakeville Lakeville a month _ ago, died in .his home at 10 a.m.,Sunday after being being ill for a month with a diabetic diabetic condition. Cripe was born in Harbor Springs, Mich., on June 8, 1884, and on Nov. 6, 1906, was "married ' to the former Bessie Inebnit in Goshen. Survivors are the widow at home: a son, Clayton, R.R. 5, Ro Chester; two daughters, Mrs. Ber dine (Margaret) Gilbert, ' Lake^ ville: and Mrs. Verna Kistler Leiters Ford; a brother, Harvey ,-Middlebury, Ind.; two sisters Mrs. Vera Ullman, Walkerton, and Mrs. Emma Gulp, Burbank Calif.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. (CST) Wednesday in the Yoder funeral home with the Rev. Robert Blue of Elkhart .officiating. Burial will be in the -West Side cemetery, Goshen. l Friends may call at the funeral home.
