be his Mrs. Battoii Rites Pend LOVINGTON -- Mrs. Laura Mae (Bobbie) Ballon, 71, former resident of Lovington, died early today in Hall- Bennett Memorial Hospital in Big Spring, Tex., where she had been a patient for six days. Mrs. Ballon was born March 9,1904 in Gray Counly, Tex. She moved lo Big Spring from Lovington in 1964 and managed the Downtown Motel there until October 1974 then her failing health caused her to retire. She was a member of the Naiarone Church. While in Lovington she was a member of Ihe Business and Professional Women's Club and served as secretary- treasurer. She also was a member of the Chamber of Commerce. In Big Spring she was a member of the Eagle's Club. Services are pending at Smith-Rogers Funeral Home in Lovington. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Laura Mae Daniels of Ten Sleep, Wyo., Mrs. Faye Whltlock of Puyallup, Wash., and Mrs. Leona Heidel of Lovington; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Ogle of TM B| 8 s P"ng and Mrs. Agnes Hibbets of Midland, Tex., 10 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren.
