Will Garden on Gunness '•Cemetery" (By- AsuocintcU Press) LAPORTE, Ind., Oct.-1.—John Nepsha doesn't think much of the story going around that ghosts of the victims of Mrs y Belle Gnnness, who twenty-two years ,-ago niur-. dered 15 men on her farm near here and was believed burned to death in a fire-that destroyed her home, frequent the premises at regular' intervals. ' . In fact, Nepsha laughed when warned by some well meaning'per- son as he began preparations to build a home -on, the very spot where Mrs. Guhness' home stood. The building is under way and Nepsha expects to have - it ready for occupancy by spring. The lot has been vacant for two decades. He thinks so little ~ofT~ the "ghost" stories that he is going to make a garden of the plot of ground where: the bodies df 15 victims victims were dug up. Mrs. Gunness lured the men to her farm on a proposal of marriage and then poisoned them.
