Hernandez of Corpus Christi. Alvie A. Waid Sr. Funeral services for Alvie A. Waid Sr., 1, of 5338 Williams, Williams, will be at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow tomorrow at the Clifford Jackson Jackson Funeral Home chapel on Kostoryz with the Rev. Bob Meadows, pastor of Gardendale Gardendale Baptist Church, officiating. officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens with graveside services services conducted by members of Independence Masonic Lodge No. 1337. Waid had been a member of the lodge since 1920. Waid died at 7:15 p.m. yesterday yesterday in a local hospital after a sudden illness. A native of Batcsville, Ark., he lived in Nueces County since 1954. He was a retired ginner and had been custodian for the independence Masonic Lodge eight years. Survivors include four sons, James J. and George M. of Corpus Christi, Fredrick T. Waid of Louisville, Ohio, and A. A. Waid Jr. of Portland; four daughters, Mrs. W. E. Wattenbarger of Caddo Gap, Ark., Mrs. Thomas E. Koban of Benton, Ark., Mrs. J. D. Wallace and Mrs. George Jackson, both of Corpus Chri- ti; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
