Billy Waid Clifford Jackson Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements for Army Pfc. Billy Waid, 20. son of Mr. Mrs. J. J. Waid of 5338 W i liams. Waid had been reported missing in action in Vietnam and Tuesday his parents were notified t h a t he had been killed Saturday when hit by enemy fire while riding in Army vehicle. Waid was the 94th Nueccs County and the 315th South Texas fatality in the war in Vietnam. He was stationed with the Fifth Infantry Division Division and was due to return home in July. Waid, a native of Houston, lived in Corpus Christi 16 years. He attended King High School before going into the service. Besides his parents, surviving surviving are two brothers. James W. and Albert A. Waid. both of Corpus Christi: a sister. Mrs. J. E. Tumlinson Jr. of Corpus Christi; his paternal grandfather. A. A. Waid of Corpus Chrisli, and maternal grandmother. M r s . Lee Ramsey of Forrest City, Ark.
