Mr. Stanley was 04 year!, T mflntbi and 25 days of age. Last Tuesday evening at six o'clock Mr. Stanley suffered a stroke of appo- ple*y and for a week be haft been unconscious. When stricken be waa assUUbg his nephew, Clifford Stan lay., with the threshing at the Stanley farm, south of town. Mr. Stanley 'is survived by two brothers, Edward B. Stanley, who 1» a twin brother, and S. D. Stanley, and by three sisters. Mrs. Carrie Warren, Misses Belle and Nettle Stanley, all of Jerseyyllle. A Brother, Robert Stanley, of Tulsa, Okla., died some years ago. Mr. Stanley for many years baa been treasurer of the school funds of Jersey township, Including the new township high school district. He Is a »on of the lute Matthew Stanley, a pioneer of Jersey county. The funeral service* were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:80 o'clock at the home, the Harrold 3. Farrill and the interment was Oak Grove cemetery. The deceased WM a member of Jerseyvllle lodge No. 394, A. P. & A.
