In P10NEEH MERCHANT DEAD. HIM of _his railway a position John Goheen PaÂ»Â»*Â» Away After and Uneful Career. John Goheen, one of the most known residents of the northern part of this county, died at his home at North Point on Thursday morning, April 4, at 7:30 o'clock after an of about four months. He had been confined to hie bed for two months. The deceased settled at North in 1856, making a clearing there which be erected a store building. Being the only merchant in that he built up an extensive business. Early in life he had united with United Bretheren church and his was one long exposition of Christian graces. He is survived by bis the following children: Davis W. been.of Punxsutawney; Mrs. Frank McEwen, of Sligo,Clarion county; R. R. Hazlett, of Georgeville, this county, and Mrs. J. W. Swartz. of Harriaburg. Frank Goheen. a second son, died in this place, about a ago. He is also survived by a brother, David Goheen, of New Bethlehem, one sister, Mrs, Nancy Kirkpatrick, Clarion county. The funeral was held in the U. church this afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. Hamilton, the local pastor, officiating. officiating. Interment was made in the North Point cemetery.
