SEAT BELTS FOR SAFETY—Police Chief Jesse Evans, behind wheel of patrol' car, has seat belt adjusted by Ted Ferre, Provo businessman. Mr. Ferre presented and installed seat belts in 11 city police cars at no cost to the city. Seat Beits Donated to Police Cars Seat belts have been presented to the Provo City Police Department and will also be installed in the patrol cars by Ted Ferre, Provo businessman in an effort to encourage the use of the , safety measure. All 11 vehicles used by the department are to have the' belts installed. The presentation was accepted by Police Chief .Jesse Evans. Mr. Ferre quoted the National Safety Council as saying -that seat belts could have saved the lives of 50,000 highway victims last year. Famed Air Ace From Santaquin Gets New Post Col. Chesley Gordon Peterson, famed World War II air ace from Santaquin, has been assigned to a new post in Japan, the Air Force has announced. Col.
