Wanda Jean Tankersley Is Bride Of Bobby W. M i s s W a n d a J e a n Tankersley became the bride of Bobby Wayne Hamilton on June 7 at Moore's Memorial Baptist Church. The Rev. Orbin 1'lanary performed the ceremony at 10 a.m. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Rosa Lee Tankersley of Route 4, Gate City, and the bridegroom is Ihe son nf Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rotivt Hamilton of 2810T'oddman St., Kingsporl. NUPTIAL MUSIC was provided by Miss Beverly Benlon, organist, and church decorations consisted of three baskets of white gladioli, four ciixk'labra, palms, an ;iisle clolh and kneeling bench, and pew markers. The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore a floor-length gown of Alencon lace over silk. The gown featured long sleeves ending in bridal points, n scooped neckline, and lube skirl. Tire back was complemented by a full-length train held in place by a matching bow. Her mantilla of illusion and lace was attached by scallops of re-embroidered Alencon lace. SHK CARRIED a bouquet consisting of a white orchid surrounded by carnations atop a Bible with streamers. Serving as maid of honor was Miss Peggy Stcffcy. She and the other attendants wore floor-length gowns of aqua cfiiffon over silk. The square necklines were trimmed with embroidered f l e u - d e - l i s medallions of avocado and aqua. Their shoulder bows were of aqua salin and headpieces were also aqua with silk illusion veils and matching bows. THEY CARRIED white carnations tinted a q u a . Bridesmaids were Misses Linda Hamilton and Mary Hamilton sisters of the groom, and Miss Marllia Light. Flower girls were Tammie Tankersley, sister of flic bride, and Tammie Conner. Ed Conner served as best fi'.an, and Billy Bowen and Donny Home were ushers. MRS. BOBBY WAYNE HAMILTON (.Miss Wandn Jean Tankersley) Tihimy Williams was ring bearer. A reception following the ceremony was given at the Weber Cily home of Mr. and Mrs. Marian A. Bowcn, grandparents of the bride, by the bride's mother and aunt, Miss Rcba Bowcn. FOLLOWING a wedding trip to Daytona Beach, Fla., the couple is in residence 3392 Memorial Blvd. The bride was graduated from Gale City High School and is employed by Eastman Co., and the bridegroom, a graduate of Ketron High School, is also employed by T e n n Easlman Co.
