DanielFerre, 71 Santaquin Man Dies In Vet Hospital SANTAQUIN — Daniel Ferre, afternoon at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City of a stroke suffered about two weeks ago. Mr. Ferre was born Oct. 7, 1888, at Scipip, a son of Roswell and Eunice Martin Ferre. He married Alberta Gushing Dec. 4, 1922 at Provo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a retired hoisting engineer having worked in the mines at Eureka. He was a veteran of World War I when he served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the LDS Church holding the office of elder. Surviving are his widow of Santaquin; a son, Carl Ferre of Farmington, N.M.; two daughters, daughters, Mrs. June Brewer and -Mrs. Patricia Wilkey, both of Salt Lake City; three grandchildren; a brother and a svster, Leo Ferre and Mrs. Jennie Loveless, both of Provo. Funeral services will be conducted conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Santaquin First LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Frank Sorenson Sorenson officiating. Friends may call at the Keith Jolley Mortuary, Payson, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the family home in Santaquin Santaquin Wednesday prior to services. Burial will be in Santaquin City Cemetery.
