Mrs. Bill Heffernan Before an altar centered with ; th^ groom, was best man, and ush- -bouquets of white gladioli flanked by palms and seven-branched candelabra, candelabra, wedding vows were repeated repeated by Miss Jo Ann Connelly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Connelly, KR 4, Anderson, and Bill Heffernan, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Heffernan, RR" 4, Anderson, on Sunday afternoon, July 6, in the Mounds Baptist Church with the Rev. Arthur Proctor officiating. Pews of the church were mark- sd with clusters of white satin bows and ivy streamers. Mrs. Martha Jane Pittsford play- ers were Jimmie Rector, cousin the groom, and Jack Heffernan, brother of the groom. Mrs. Heffernan, mother of the groom, chose a blue and white nylon dress with white accessories and a corsage of fleur d' amour tied with pink ribbons. .The bride's mother, Mrs. Connelly, wore a navy blue nylon frock with white accessories and a corsage of white fleur d' amour tied with silver white ribbons. A reception followed at , the church with a four-tiered wedding ed organ selections while thej.-cake centering the serving table. guests were being seated S h e wore a white gown accented by a corsage of white carnations. Mrs. Dorothy Ja c k s o n accompanied James Stohler who'sang "Always" and "Because." Mrs. Jackson was dressed in a formal black and white gown. The bride,who was given in marriage marriage by her father, chose a gown of white satin. The molded bodice was highlighted with small self- covered buttons and a small point- Cake and punch .were served by Misses Donna Lou Stohler, Norma Connelly, Mrs. Rozella Baldwin and Mrs. Alta Mae Garner. Later Mr. and Mrs. Heffernan left for a wedding trip through South. For traveling the bride wore.a navy blue, suit with white accessories. She carried a cascade arrangement arrangement of white carnations. The two bridesmaids, Mrs. Alta Mae Garner and Miss Marilyn Scott, wore pale pink and yellow gowns respectively. Mrs. Garner carried white carnations centered with pink flowers, and Miss Scott carried white carnations with yellow yellow carnations in the center.
