Calumet, Mich., Dec. 10 Sat- rday>—(Æ*V—Advised of reports trom the Michigan Sault that the < rew of the steamer Altadoc had been rescued by coast guards, < aptain Glaza in charge of the Kaglw Harbor coast guard crew, >iated this morning that he had heard nothing of the rescue and was preparing to embark with several of his men for the scene of the wreck at 3 a m. After transporting a surf boat overland one mile from the Eagle Harbor coast guard station to the village of Eagle -irarbor, the guardsmen were preparing at an early hour to leave In search of the Altadoo aground somewhere on Keweenaw Point. There 1« a possibility that the Crawford that sailed from Two Harbors, Minn., yesterday may have arrived and removed the wreck She had not been heard from since sailing Friday.
