Morale-: star Gesoss. Mr. Robert E. Morningstar, editor of the Bow lies Green Democrat, was nnited in wedlock in this city, yesterday morning,' to Mias Cora Gessom, of Bowling Green. , The ceremony waa performed in the parlors of Dr, T. T. Eaton's residence. S 21 Second street, by that minister. - The wedding was very juiet, only a few intimate friends telntf present. The affair smacked somewhat ot an - elopement, - bus it was noc The young ' people had been engaged for some time, and had set the lime for their marriage for June, but, botn happening -to bo in the city, coucludod to anticipate' the date and be married at once. T be. oo risen t of the bride'a parents had been secured. Mr. Morningstar - is well known in Louisville,- where he formerly muded. and is the son of Mr. - S. MorningMar, memlier of Ihe St-hool Board from tlte lourth ward. He is also an ex-metn-Inr of the Louisville Legion, in. which be served one or two terms, and was always ready tor active service. His bride is tlie daughter of a, well-known citiyen of Bowling Green. Mr. and Mrs. Morningstar left during the afternoon on a weddina, tour, which wall include Chicago, Cincinnati and Indiaa-i spoils, and t-rubanly otlier cities.
