By BECCY TANNER Features Editor Albert Gorrell is a chip off the old American Gothic Farmer's block. He does not spend his days gabbin*. After all, he says, he enjoys his work — so there's no need for that philosophizing philosophizing stuff. And he knows exactly how to go about the business of living. "Had eight heart attacks ... not looking looking forward to the next one," said Gorrell, Gorrell, 75, 1523 N. 5th. "So I've slowed down some. I have almost 15 acres that for a number of years I've put in as a truck garden. "You see, I've done this type of thing all my life. I was raised on a farm. I'm a farmer and that's all there is to it." To put it simply, Gorrell said, he's a survivor because he's in love with work. "The biggest secret in truck gardening, gardening, or anything else you do, for that matter, is you've got to know what you're doing.
