TWO MOKE INSPECTOR. The mayor appointed two more school In spectors yesterday one In the Eighth District. Mm. Anna W. Lawrence Brown, wife of C. Hilton Brown, of Highbrldge. to succeed Francis L. Donlon : the other In the First District. Mrs. H. Dorothy Beach, wife of Homer P. Beach, former trustee and chair man, to reolaee Gilbert H. Holden. Mrs. Brown has never heen a public official, but Is not alarmed at the prospect before her.- She Is associated with numerous charities In the city, and has taken active part in that work In Dr. Paxton's church. Mr. Brown s beautiful house in Highbrldge is evidence of the excellent taste and home-making ability of its manager. Mrs. Beach begins work with a practical equipment, having attended the public schools of this city, graduating from iso. i. and from Normal College, afterward teaching for several years. She has no fads, is domes tic In taste, has a natural fondness for children, and looks forward to school Inspecting with pleasant anticipations. There will probably be no actual Inspecting done until fall by either of these appointees. They will devote the balance of the season to becoming acquainted with the field. New York Sun.
