Cohn Taking 8 Grapplers To Bozeman Jack Cohn, Helena high ichool wrestling coach, said Wednesday he would take eight boys to the state interscholastic grappling meet oil the Montana State college college campus in Bozeman Friday and Saturday. Cohn said all the boys will wrestle, as alternates are not permitted permitted in the slate meet. Nearly 30 teams cninpcted in 195fl with Helena finishing in the top half. Two boys on (he Helena squad ere finalists in 1950. They are Larry Michaelson, who will compete compete in the 120-pound 120-pound 120-pound class, and Steve Barnes, listed for the 145- 145- pound class. The other Bengals and their weight classes are: Lar- Lar- y Roy 112, Bob Baker 127, Jim liicheson 133, Ronnie Johnson 138, Dick Wiklund 154 and Gary Tcmplin 177. The boys won the right to appear appear by defeating teammates in .ntrasquad wrestling Uus week. Cohn said he has no competi tors in the 93, 103, lfi5 and heavyweight heavyweight classes. The matches will be conducted all day Friday and Salurday, Cohn said, and commented that any boy reaching the finals will have to grapple about seven limes.
