MATT SULLIVAN DIES Eocanaba—Matthew P. Sullivan, ST., 65, engineer for the Chicago and North Western Railway, died at the family home, 17 South Seventh street, at 5:30 p. m. Friday after an illness of two months. Death was. caused by complications. Mr. Sullivan was a member of this community for 60 years and 44 years of that period were spent as employe of the Chicago and North Western Railway. Matthew Sullivan was born 'n Eagle Harbor, Michigan, on Feb. 22, 1868. He moved to Escanaba with his parents when he was only five years old and has lived in this community community ever since. He started work with the railroad as a fireman in 1890 and in 1900 he was promoted to engineer, a position which he has since held.
