LETHA G. VENABLE Letha G. Venable passed away about 10:30 Monday morning at her home on East Second street. Delphine and Grace Haley, granddaughters, who live at Browning, Mo. most tenderly helped take care of her through her illness. She was bedfast four weeks. She expressed .her desire to go and said she was not afraid to die. Funeral services will be held at the Meinershagen and Marshall Funeral Home at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, Rev. S. P. Williamson conducting the service. Burial in Edgewood. Letha G. Day was born Aug. 20, 1849 in Howard county, Missouri. She was united in marriage to James W. Venable June 16th, 1864, who preceded her in death some eight years ago. Nine children were born to this union of which five are living, J. G. Venable of Pell, Washington, R L. Venable, Winlock, Washington, Bessie Bellman,' Kansas City, Mb. Tina B. Bingham of this city, also Francis Venable of this city with whom she made her home. She was united with the Christian church at Browning about fifty-two years ago. She had been failing in health for two years or more.
