He was the father of Dr. J.M.Orr, Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Sept. I, in First United Methodist Church of Memphis, with the Rev. Kenneth Metxgcr. pan- tor, and Mln, lorn Hmoy, of First Christian Church, Memphis, Memphis, officiating. Burial will be In Falrvlew Ccmetry, Memphis, Memphis, with Masonic Rites and under the direction of Splcer Funeral Home. Mr. Orr was born January I, 1888, in Pulatkl, Term., and moved to Hall County with his family In 1890. He wns married m Miss Addilcc ViiHancc April 1, 1906, at Pla*kn, where he farmed and lived until he retired and moved In Memphis In I960, He wa.s a member of First United Methodist Church, the Memphis Masonic Lodge and the Odd Fellows Lodge. He Is survived by three sons, William Newton Orr, of Houston, Leo Wesley Orr of Lubbock, and Dr. James Milton Orr of Wellington; three daughters, Mrs, Fnnnle Mae Georue of Memphis, also can run with the ball, the Hollis quarterback run* only occasionally.
