The Tragedy at Warrington, Fa. The Pensacola Gazette of Saturday last gives the following account of the tragical affair at Warrington, a brief notice of which (taken from the Mobile Register) appeared in the Evening Picayune yesterday : Tbe quiet town of Warrington was startled from its apathy on Wednesday morning by a tragic occurrence, which shocked alike the feelings of all the Inhabitants. That our readers may understand the particulars, we will relate the tale as it was told to us. Mr. A. J Lamberton, Postmaster at Warrington. discovered, on Tuesday evenine. Mr - J. C. Jnnee, a pilot at tbis port, in a criminal con nection witb nis wife, but be, Jones, escaped from the premises before be could attack him. The circnmstAnoe wrought upon the feelings of Mr. L. to such an extent that he wandered like a maniac all the night of Tuesday, and early on Wednesday morning he procured a double barrel shot gun, which he loaded with heavy charges of buck shot, and lying in wait tor Jones, discnarged one barrel at bim as be was crossing the street from his' bouse, which did not hit bim. Jones" then turned and ran towards bis bouse, and just as be was entering bis gate - way a second snot from Ltarnberton killed bim instantly. Mr. L., after taking advice, departed immediately, and has not since been heard from.
