The Douthitt sisters, Naomi Helen and Hazel, played at the Granby theater again Tuesday evening. evening. Mrs. Mike Troxel is on the sick list tWs week. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hutchison and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ferguson were dinner guests Sunday at -th« home of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. DePriest DePriest of Sarcoxie. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Skaggs and son, Eldridge, of Wentworth spent Sunday here with relatives. Thirteen of our business men and farmers attended a "farm to market" road meeting at Neck City, Monday. Mr. and Mrs.. John Smith—attended Smith—attended the birthday dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Douthitt, Sunday. Several from here attended the funeral services of Rev. H. Pinkston, Pinkston, which were held at Verona, Monday afternoon. Mr. Pinkerton was pastor of the Rltchey Presbyterian Presbyterian church for a number of yuan* 1 : His many friends in this community deeply regret his death. Mrs. Hester Curtis, who for the past several months has been with relatives in Tulsa, Is home now. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Alburty and daughter, Helen, were shopping in Neosho Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. John Smerdon of near Pierce Ciey, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Smerdon. Smerdon. Misses Naomi, Helen and Hazel Douthitt, with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Spangler and son, Rex, were Diamond Diamond visitors Monday afternoon. The Ritchey B. Y. P. U. announces announces a special service 'next Sunday evening. The subject will bo "Stewardship" and Timothy Tithes and his helpers will be there. Everybody invited.
