o RURAL CARRIERS' MEETING. '-•"the'Newton County Rural Letter Carriers' Association met Feb. 22 a' Neosho in its annual meeting helc each year on that date. A number of the boys were present, but due to some confusion as to where the meeting was to be held some did not get to attend. Regular order of business was disposed of and the following elected as officers for the new year Clyde M. Douthitt of Ritchey, president; Hugh M. Davis of Seneca, vice president; L. W. Barnett of Newtonia secretary-treasurer. Two delegates were selected to at tend~~the state convention to be hel< at Chillicothe, Mo., Malcolmb V. Davis of Seneca and Chas. H. Stewart o Neosho. Organization for past year was al most 100 per cent and the new offi cers hope to make it unanimous th coming year.
