Mrs. Cupples retired from Van Zandt VA Medical Center as chief purchasing agent. She also was the co-founder and chairman of the board of M.R. Cupples Memorial Co. Inc. for 43 years. She was a member of the Altoona Women's Club. Surviving are a son, M. Richard of Altoona; a brother, Charles of Shapley, Maine; and two grandchildren. grandchildren.
